Meet the Thermatek Team

Ryan Beattie

Having spent the first part of my career in Northern Ireland, my wife and I decided to move to Edinburgh in 2018. We both found that we loved it here and bought our first home. We've since had a little boy, and I made the decision to build a company that shared my ideas about quality and integrity and, most importantly, the dedication to providing amazing service to our customers. Since starting the company, it's been such an amazing journey, and I'm very proud of how far it has come in a short period of time. I hope to see the business continue to grow and provide amazing service to the people of Edinburgh and beyond for years to come.

Used Thermatek for second year for annual boiler service having used them before. Booked a time slot and with reminders in the run up great efficient and polite service. Reliable company and would recommend. Pricing fair for annual gas boiler check and won’t go anywhere else now I’ve found Ryan and his team.

Ryan literally saved me from a total nervous breakdown. He came onsite to sort out a leak that was flooding the flat below us and the basement. We couldn’t get anyone to help us, agents, plumbers and our boiler manufacturer. I woke him at 8 am and he was onsite doing the repairs necessary by 10am. Couldn’t have asked for more help. Bill was reasonable, and we are now engaging his company to install a new heating system . Ryan was knowledgable and communication was excellent . Couldn’t recommend Ryan’s business more

Was recommended Thermatek by a family member. Required gas hob removed and sink and washing machine taken out in preparation for new kitchen installation. Job was easy to organise at time I wanted it done. Engineer turned up on time. He explained as he went along and all tasks were completed promptly and efficiently. Engineer was very friendly and easy to talk to. Coming back to reconnect washing machine and fit new sink. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend company.

I had previously always used a different, well known Edinburgh company, for all boiler related servicing and work. When it came to fitting a new boiler, the other company seemed unwilling to relocate the boiler into the attic, nor to deal with a system that included an area of underfloor heating, and gave me a very high quote. When Ryan from Thermatek came to take a look, he was really easy to speak with, said the necessary work could be done no problem and gave me a reasonable quote as well as financing info. He was helpful in arranging fitting dates to work around our needs. Two members of his team have subsequently fit a new boiler for us. They were nice guys, lovely to speak with, were professional and left everything clean and tidy. I really couldn’t have asked for better service and will be using Thermatek going forward for the annual boiler servicing.
