How much does a boiler repair cost?

Standard boiler repair appointment: £95+VAT for the first hour, excluding parts.
Emergency attendance: £150+VAT for the first hour, followed by £95+VAT per hour. Parts are additional.

If we can’t repair the boiler there and then, our engineer will provide a complete detailed transparent quote for any additional work required to get your boiler up and running again.

Do you offer same day repairs?

Yes, in many cases, we can provide a same-day initial call-out and repair. If your boiler can not be fixed without replacement parts, we will schedule another visit with you.

Do you offer emergency call outs?

Yes – 24/7 availability for boiler emergencies across Edinburgh (subject to availability).

Emergency attendance: £150+VAT for the first hour, followed by £95+VAT per hour. Parts are additional.

Ryan literally saved me from a total nervous breakdown. He came onsite to sort out a leak that was flooding the flat below us and the basement. We couldn’t get anyone to help us, agents, plumbers and our boiler manufacturer. I woke him at 8 am and he was onsite doing the repairs necessary by 10am. Couldn’t have asked for more help. Was recommended Thermatek by a family member. Required gas hob removed and sink and washing machine taken out in preparation for new kitchen installation. Job was easy to organise at time I wanted it done. Engineer turned up on time. He explained as he went along and all tasks were completed promptly and efficiently. I had previously always used a different, well known Edinburgh company, for all boiler related servicing and work. When it came to fitting a new boiler, the other company seemed unwilling to relocate the boiler into the attic, nor to deal with a system that included an area of underfloor heating, and gave me a very high quote. When Ryan from Thermatek came to take a look, he was really easy to speak with, said the necessary work could be done no problem and gave me a reasonable quote as well as financing info. He was helpful in arranging fitting dates to work around our needs. Two members of his team have subsequently fit a new boiler for us.
